Nice good size bag. I see that it is currently $10 less than I paid, so buy it now!
I like the longer retractable handle. This one is two inches taller than one of my other suitcases and three inches taller than the other (as they stand straight up on the floor.) I am a tallish woman and the extra couple of inches will keep me from kicking the bag as I walk along. Also the handle has two lock heights. Extended all the way (40.5") for dragging behind and a few inches lower (36") for rolling along on all four wheels. The top tapers in a bit on the front, so the bottom is wider and more stable. The expansion zipper makes only the top wider so the whole bag is more rectangular when all expanded.
Can't wait to use this new bag. It would be 5 stars:
1. if it was packed a little better (cardboard box, no plastic wrap, so it has a couple scratches already),
2. if there was a handle on the bottom to lift it into overhead bins, and
3. if the top handle would lie flat so I could put another small bag on top. As it is, the top grab handle doesn't lie quite flat. Great bag otherwise.

I give this bag 4 stars because of its value. I fly somewhere every week so this bag is being tested. The reasons I don't give it 5 stars. 1. no handle on bottom to get it out of the overhead. 2. Extendable handle feels cheap. 3. Doesn't roll great on carpet. Overall though this bag is pretty good zippers feel solid and I haven't had any problems getting it into the overhead of all of the different planes I fly on. So for the price this one is better than some of the others out there.

I fly Airtran and had no problem fitting this in the upper compartment. It is decently sized with plenty of pockets. Perfect for my week long stay! I love how I was able to roll sideways down the aisle. No problems with the wheels.
